Burning suggestions:
To begin, light the tip of your sage or herbal bundle until it begins to smolder. Blow out the flame and let the smoke rise. Use the feather to sweep the smoke around your body, living space, or altar. Palo Santo may also be lit from the end for shorter, intentional smudging sessions. Always burn in a well-ventilated area and rest your bundle in the abalone shell between uses. Use the sand to fully extinguish when finished.
